Dope or Nope is a brand of single-use reagent drug tests. Each test answers one question with a colour: does this sample probably contain the substance it was sold as? The range covers fifteen tests, from cocaine and ecstasy to LSD, GHB and THC, plus a General test for nine common drug groups.
Our position
Dope or Nope neither approves of nor condemns drug use. We recognise that people use illegal substances regardless of their legal status, and that there is no such thing as safe drug use. The tests are tools for harm reduction: they help people avoid a substance that is not what they expected. They are for adults (18+) only.
How this site is made
This is the brand's own website. Product information, the steps of the manual, the warnings and the colour chart of the General test come from the packaging and leaflets of the tests. Background facts come from public harm reduction and government sources, such as FRANK in the United Kingdom, the Drugs Infolijn of the Trimbos Institute and the official law databases of each country. We link to them where we use them, and every page shows the date it was last checked.
What we do not do: we make no health claims, publish no reviews or testimonials, and never say a result makes drug use safe. Where a colour reaction is not published, we point to the chart in the pack instead of guessing.
